Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster. She is a host and reporter for MLB Network. A graduate of the University of San Diego, her past sportscasting experience includes roles at New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno. ==Biography== Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.telegram.com/article/20080725/NEWS/807250521/1009 )〕 She was a National Merit Scholar and attended the University of San Diego on an academic scholarship, where she graduated with honors in 2003. However, in September 2012 Watney left Time Warner to join MLB Network. She has hosted the MLB Network's show ''Quick Pitch'' every weeknight since 2013.
